I have a lot of high strikeout pitchers. Skenes, Cole and Chase Burns but they all had bad games last week giving up 5 or 6 runs. They struck out a lot of guys but still had bad games.

Welcome to another edition of This Week in Maple Mashers Baseball.

The Mashers were sitting in third place last week heading into their matchup against the Moonbase Rockets and let's just say it wasn't their best stretch of the season. Nothing seemed to go right for the Mashers both on the pitching and hitting side and they lost 8-3-1. The loss dropped them down to 4th place in the BIP Fantasy league. This week they face off against the commish, 

 Lightning Legends in what should be a fun matchup. Will NEED root for his guy William Contreras to hit a bunch of homers and sink his Legends? Sounds like a bit of a conflict of interest to me but who am I to judge.

That was rough. The Mashers only finished top half of the league in 3/12 categories which is also the same amount of categories they finished dead last in. Definitely one to flush. Let's hope the Mashers get back to playing some good ball this week.
