It's been an incredible match. Cape Verde surprised us the first day when they drew against Spain. They kept the same pace with Saudi Arabia and Uruguay, qualifying second in their group. Argentinian were really happy to play against them in the last 32 round. Then, they were praying to score before the end of the extra time. Messi scored the initial goal and Argentinian thought that the job was done, but in the second half Cape Verde equalized it and the South American were unable to score again, even though Messi had a couple of free kicks where he likes.

In the extra time, Argentina took the lead again in a corner kick which they thought it would be it. Then, Lopes Cabral scored an amazing goal from the left corner of the box to equalize it again. Have we seen the best goal in the tournament yet?

In the second half of the extra time, again Messi took the responsibility of taking a corner kick and in the mess, in the middle of the box, a Cape Verdean defender sent it to the net. Congrats to Argentina to go through.

Before this incredible match, we watched one of the worst matches till now. It's a clear Boring Kickball game. Australia and Egypt drew 1-1 after 120 minutes of play and went straight to the penalty shoot out.
Salah , the best player in the pitch, scored his penalty with a Panenka's style throw.

Finally , Colombia performed another solid match , winning their match 1-0 and going to the next round. They are in Argentina's way to the semifinals.

We move, tonight, to the Laast 16 round. In the first match, Canada will face Morocco. I know that some our Stackers are still believing in Canada , though I think that it would be a huge surprise that you could eliminate Morocco.

Then, later on, France, still the favorite, will play against Paraguay. It might be a very tough match though France should pass without problems.
