I saw that in the code but how do you revoke someone's access / eject them from the group.

Only the network owner can remove someone by pressing the "x"button next to a there name. It then sends a removal message through the relays to everyone else in that network. Each member receives that message, checks that it came from the network owner and remove said member. If the member knows the join code they could rejoin unless the network owner has a password set
