This is it. After a month of competition, we move towards the relevant matches. Just 8 teams fighting for the crown that they will carry for 4 long years.
As you are aware, there are two sides of the bracket
On the left, France and Morocco will play tonight. In my humble opinion, France has been displaying the best performance throughout the whole World Cup. It's true that, in the last match, they weren't as bright as in previous matches as the Paraguayan defense was outstanding . In the other side, Morocco will remember Qatar 22 where they lost to them in the Semifinals.
The other semifinalist will be decided among Spain and Belgium. We are still waiting for the best image from Spain as some players still coming out from injuries. Will it be this match? Belgians crushed USA in the previous round and they have really skilled players such as Lukebakio, De Ketelaere, Lukaku,... It is going to be fun!
Then we move to the other side, where England and Norway will fight for a spot to face, most likely, Argentina.
If I had to pick semifinalists I would probably say France vs Spain and England vs Argentina.

I have high hopes this will show France's defensive mettle for the first time in the tournament. They still remain untested in my opinion.
Spain haven't conceded a single goal so far. Only the Cabo Verde result seemed weak. Then again, no other team has beaten CV in regular time either.
Since then, they seemed to get into the swing of things at the right time.
England v Norway could be entertaining. And I've got a feeling the Swiss are stronger than people give them credit for, would be a slight surprise but no upset in my books if they somehow edge past Arg.
I can see a most likely surprise in the Norway vs England to be honest.
I think France and Argentina are the clear favorites to reach the final, but anything can happen in the quarterfinals. Let's see who wins tonight!
