As with countries all over the world, income inequality is a rising issue in Singapore. The rich gets richer, and the poor struggles with everyday expenses.

Though public housing and its associated facilities are a league in its own right. Visited Tengah, a newly-minted town for its indoor playground on the ground floor of a block of flats. It was stunningly aesthetic and immersive for my kids. Located a few blocks away was a community centre. Just take a look at how futuristic and inviting this third space looked.

It even came with a rooftop playground that my daughter enjoyed for a grand total of two minutes before she whined that it was too hot and she had to go back (to air-conditioned comfort).
