hahahaha I noticed this when I was looking for the silver coins you just dropped I had to filter to find the coins I wanted to add to my collection!

I noticed you don’t have an American silver coins yet.

yeah not much in the way of US coinage right now. I'll have to acquire some for plunda!

There may also be a few in the coin backlog, I'll have a look!

but I'll need to start buying more coins in a few months anyway once the existing coin backlog is all listed.

have already done a little recon around Barcelona to scout out the collectibles scene. there's quite a lot of action here, so I'll see if i can find some.

Thanks. What about more recent releases like the Trump pure silver coin? Or will Plunda only be used for antique coins?

I know the value can really skyrocket if you start to list golden eagles and other solid gold coin collections

modern stuff is for sure a cool idea. the process might be a bit different for photographing them though, because they're often sealed in plastic cases.

and definitely wanna get some higher value stuff on there yeah, it'll have to wait a lil while tho. I've got like 3 gold coins i need to list but they're not stashed here in Barcelona yet so i can't get em online for a few months. one of them is actually a US gold five dollar from like early 1900. it's a beautiful coin.

I think it's good to keep the values a little lower until the platform has matured a bit and there are more security checks in place.

Indeed!! I was just curious if I could ever list my own physical coins for sale.

yup, once shipping is enable you'll be able to withdraw AND deposit physical assets. plunda HQ being the central node. as things expand be cool to get an HQ setup in other countries too 😄

Sounds too good to be true! I just hope the fraudsters and scammers don’t ruin it for the rest of us!

My friend just got scammed selling a one piece trading card on eBay. He gave feedback too early and the buyer claimed my friend never sent the card. So he lost the card and $800 fiat bux

damn that's painful. such underhanded behaviour, sucks. we'll take it slow and try to build up a system that doesn't have these sort of problems. probably all shipping will have to go like fully insured and tracked, so it will be more expensive. but because you can amass a big stash digitally and then combine the shipping cost across all of them, hopefully it won't be too big of a problem
as for deposit, I'll have to be really careful listing items to make sure nothing goes missing and that no fakes are deposited. also will have to start ramping up security as the amount of assets at plunda HQ increase.
