Political panic does not require proof. It requires two different standards.

A rumor, video clip or unexplained payment becomes evidence of a vast left-wing network, even without a named donor, recipient or criminal act.

But organized violence on the right is reduced to isolated individuals, even when there are groups, funding, convictions and coordinated action.

The pattern is simple:

The left is treated as organized when the evidence is anecdotal.
The right is treated as isolated when the organization is documented.

Suspicion becomes certainty for one side.
Plausible deniability becomes protection for the other.

That is how a Red Scare works:

Insinuation for the accused.
Excuses for the protected.
State power aimed in only one direction.
