As Jameson Lopp said recently on Twitter, eplay protection is essentially admitting defeat, right off the bat.
With no txn replay, your chain might look like a ghost town, even to people who are totally neutral to the coin (or who don't know about it).
I don't believe in coddling people -- at least not in the investing world, or the tech world. If you aren't paying attention -- you'll be left behind! And, if you pay attention to the wrong people (or wrong projects) then you will suffer horribly. Pain, blood, and suffering are the best teachers!
