What do you think of the idea that Bitcoin has to be primarily private, not only have opt-in privacy?

Shouldn't eCash have its scaling sidechain (Thunder) be a sidechain with full privacy from day one?

What we really want is cheap privacy. And we want sufficiently many decoys in our anonymity set.

Is Zside entirely private by default? or does it have separate transparent and shielded pools like Zcash?
