Yep maybe, but she sounds like she lost all kind hope by not realizing that government can't steal Bitcoin as easily as gold from its citizen. She also seems like someone who can get interested pretty deeply in some topics once she is triggered enough, and receiving 1.3 BTC in few hours could be enough lol
I have not finished the interview with Odell yet but if she realizes that it's not complicated at all but just involves a bit of self responsibility, maybe she will be a true Bitcoiner one day. We all starts somewhere :)

The Mandibles shows the financial future we wouldn't want to live in. Kudos for Lionel Shriver for such a marvellous book and Odell for pushing its awareness.

One step at a time. Holding funds for her was a non starter, I wanted her to experience self custody.
Most wallets still do not support bip47 so that wasn't a good option.
Expecting her to run a btcpay server at this point is incredibly unrealistic.

I sent some sats to Lionel. I hope she looks into Bitcoin more deeply. The Mandibles was such a great book.
The mandibles would be a great movie. Hope some enterprising film student who is also a sat stacker makes it one day.
