The company that is trying to put stocks on the blockchain has finally gone public! I had no idea this deal happened until I listened to TFTC pod with Mel Mattison today. I like Mel he has good information but it is clear he’s all about maximizing his fiat bag.

Late in the episode he mentioned Securitize went public via a SPAC and already sold off. He mentioned he picked up some shares because he thinks trading stocks on a blockchain is coming.

As all the stackers know I am bullish on tokenized stocks. I wish they would trade on Bitcoin rails (which I think will eventually happen) but seeing this company go public and push the industry forward is quite interesting.

Now I am thinking about getting a few shares and in here lies my dilemma.

A.

I could buy the shares on Robinhood and just hold them in my brokerage account.

B.

Or I can KYC with Securitize download Cake Wallet and buy their tokenized shares right from their site. They currently use Solana which is absolutely disgusting but it is a step level improvement over holding my shares with Robinhood.

And this is how Bitcoiners fail purity tests.

Which one will I do? Who knows but I think it is cool a company is trying to change the way we trade stocks. Will keep an eye out on this stock.
