But, I don't think there is much to be gained by determining who is to blame.

The puzzle of how to move value, and how to redistribute the spoils from between your earning years to your elderly years... not so simple

It is simple. I wish it weren't. I wish there were more to be gained from these fascinating macroeconomic analyses, but we've already fixed 97% of economic problems just by putting a supply cap on the currency, so now it's mostly a matter of dealing with thieves and looters who can't cope with the fact that they have less money than other people who worked hardet than them.

You just cant cope with the reality that China with its state capitalist- free enterprise hybrid vigour economic model has built the most productive innovative and rapidly growing economy on the planet and that your financialised neoliberal crony capitalism is not able to compete.
@denlillaapan does not seem to understand that it was us Boomers (his and your parents) who introduced the neoliberal economic model that his Libertarian nonsense is a derivative of...that has decimated and destroyed economic opportunity for your generation.
History and logic show that a government that fosters development and investment in education, engineering and productive infrastructure delivers superior economic growth and wealth.
China won the trade war so you Libertarian ingrate morons now have to live with a future of ever declining wealth and freedoms because your ideology is fundamentally flawed.
@denlillaapan is a hypocrite claiming social welfare payments from the Iceland government.
All the bleating spoilt brat Libertarian Gen Xer bludgers and hypocrites need to be deported to Gaza and given a chance to know true hardship.
