Women work less in construction or similar dangerous jobs, which influences fatalities.

"equal pay for equal work" does not demand women work in the same jobs, it only demands equal pay when they do.

I’m aware. The snarkiness is because the people clamoring for equal pay are always relying on statistics that omit all of these factors.

Honest assessments have found the true wage gap to be negligible.
