I have to wonder if this has ever happened before cause this is so wild to see! Amish Shah was the team doctor for the New York Jets when Feely was kicking for the team so they know each other! Super interesting that the race is in Arizona of all places!

This is one of the most competitive races in the U.S. this election cycle. In 2024 Shah ran for th same seat and lost in the general election to Republican incumbent David Schweikert by 4%. Shah was also NOT the candidate backed by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (the establishment) though I do not see why they won't quickly get behind him now.
