I'd say I'm fairly familiar with it... I'm not a pro, but I know how to set up my VPSs, work with Proxmox, and I run quite a few services. Plus, several of my company clients have Linux servers, so it's pretty much my day-to-day work.

Debian + ZFS + Docker. A ZFS pool for long term data storage. Copypyparty for daily usage. Immich for all your photos and videos, make accounts for everyone in the family.
