I kept noticing that the hardest parts of Bitcoin to explain — block space, channel liquidity, what a sat is actually worth — are not hard concepts. They're just hard to feel from a paragraph of text.

So I tried to build the feeling instead. Four small games, each with one rule, each about one real mechanic.

🔢 21,000,000 — Merge matching numbers to climb a digit: 1 sat → 10 → 100 → … → 100,000,000 = 1 BTC. Nine steps. Most people have never counted them out. (3–6 min)

📈 1.0000 — You hold 1 BTC. Two buttons: sell and buy back. Score is measured in bitcoin, not dollars — and if you do nothing at all you finish with exactly 1.0000. That's the opponent. I simulated it 600 times; no mechanical rule beats doing nothing. (90 sec)

⚡ ROUTING — Draw a path a payment can actually take. Channels have a balance on each side, and every payment you route shifts it permanently, so the easy route dies after you use it. Then an incoming payment arrives and you realise you can use it to refill a drained channel. That moment is the whole game. (5–8 min)

⛏ BLOCK TEMPLATE — Fill a 2,000 vB block from the mempool. The catch: nothing is hashing while you fill it, so your win chance decays as you optimise. It's the reason empty blocks exist, and you learn it by losing to it. (5–8 min)

No signup, no wallet, no tracking, no build step — plain HTML, works offline once loaded, English and Japanese.

Honest disclosure: in 21,000,000, merging two 1s into a 10 is not arithmetic. It's the only way to make 1 BTC reachable in a 4×4 grid, so the game never displays a total anywhere — your score is the biggest denomination you reached, not a balance.
