I'm beginning to understand privacy more as I think about how much of our personal information is constantly being collected and synchronized to make it easier for us to access apps, websites, software, and different services.
But I still wonder how long that information remains in their databases after we've given it away for convenience. Once our data is out there, do we really know who can access it or how long it will be kept?
I just hope that someday, we won't have to give away so much personal information just to carry out a simple transaction or use a service. Maybe privacy shouldn't be the price we have to pay for convenience.
