One of the interesting parts of this coldcard hack is I actually think quantum risk is a lot more overblown
Effectively guessing private keys is already known. Every key in the universe is available for anyone to select. Quantum doesn’t change that unless you create a quantum algorithm that can scan the bitcoin blockchain looking to sweep keys. Far away from that capability even if quantum gets to a point it can “break” ecc.
Basically only risk vector is reversing a private key from a public key.
Segwit is completely secure if you don’t double spend. Maybe a few changes to how the mempool works and you’re good without needing a massive overhaul of “quantum proof” cryptography.
