People are obsessed with NDEs.
They watch videos. They read books. They listen to podcasts. They hang on every word of people who claim to have died, seen the other side, and come back.
But if you pay attention, something is missing.
What They Bring Back
People who have NDEs always come back with the same things:
· Doom and gloom
· Vague warnings
· "Go back to Jesus."
· "Repent."
· "The end is near."
What They Don't Bring Back
But they never come back with:
· How to get to Christ
· How to practice the text
· How to walk in truth
· How to use scripture
· How to discern what's real and what's not
You'd think if someone died and came back, they'd come back with useful information. Something practical. Something that actually helps people.
But they don't.
Here's The Thing
It's not just NDEs.
The people called pastors and priests don't teach us how to use the text either.
They tell you:
· "Read your Bible."
· "Trust God."
· "Have faith."
But they don't show you:
· How to test what you hear
· How to discern truth from lies
· How to stand in your authority
· How to walk in freedom
Why This Matters
If you can't use the text, you can't:
· Test what you're told
· See the hooks
· Walk in truth
· Build something new
You stay stuck.
You stay dependent.
You stay in the system.
What The Text Actually Says
1 John 4:1 — "Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God."
Not "believe every NDE."
Not "trust every story."
Test them.
John 8:32 — "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Not "an NDE will set you free."
Not "a vision will set you free."
Truth will set you free.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 — "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Not NDEs.
Not visions.
Not signs.
Scripture.
The Unhook
You don't need an NDE to tell you what to do.
You don't need a pastor to tell you what to believe.
You need the text to show you how.
And you need people who actually know how to teach — not to keep you comfortable, but to set you free.

Is it just me or are these video surging right now?
I've seen a lot of these and I'm noticing some interesting patterns in them.
One is this:
"These are the life events you chose before you came here..." as their "spirit guide" encourages them for the next part of their journey.
One of the leaders in this trend was suggesting a book that was a sort of "guidebook for the afterlife" which if I'm not mistaken was written by consulting the dead.
This seems kind of like a spiritual trend like the Mandella Effect back in the twenty-teens.
I've heard most NDEs than most. The more recent batch has it's own set of patterns, showing a sort of inspiration. (Test the Spirits, as they say)
