Mixing Pepsi and coffee is a crime against gastronomy. When a drink tastes like Windex or cough syrup, it has failed its most basic purpose. Have we really reached a point where we value aesthetic over actual flavor?

I've had coffee tonics before though, coffee mixed with sparkling water, and they're not bad. But you don't put milk in that.

The wife had to explain this to me recently when some local burger joint started selling them... a lot of them. They were selling out daily according to facebook posts.
I think this is evidence of processed foods permanently destroying peoples taste receptors.
Dunkin' in particular is a strange animal, was in a breakout group with some of their IT people in the long long ago who explained their test kitchen in Canton Mass just turns out slop to see what sticks. Optimized purely on margin, apparently people like paying $20/lb for sugar and seed oils.
