I was recently watching this video, where they play the COLD CARD track.

It was really surprising to learn that no Koreans fell victim to the theft, as they usually generate their own seed.

It’s simply a cultural thing – they don’t trust others and do it themselves, generating their own entropy.

This perspective turned out to be what saved the Bitcoin holders on COLD CARD in South Korea.

This shows once again that the way forward is self-custody – but genuine self-custody.
