## TLDR

* Its been a deadbeat summer and I can't take anymore but somehow I shipped Vertical videos in Explore and a whole anonymous Lightning media deck anyway.
* Vertical video is working now with full height swipe viewer, we have separate landscape and vertical spacing in explorer and creator channels too.
* We opened dubbing to every channel as well except vertical videos for now.
* Dropped in Labs is **Hi-Fi Deck,**  a no account, load media intake, pay sats, run Hi-Fi Scribe / Dub / Cap / Clip / Rip / Drop. First pass this past week.

## The Long and Winding One

Last week ended with me saying security would eat the upcoming week. Some of that continued but then Vertical and Hi-Fi Deck hijacked the the week in a good way 🥷

### Vertical Explore has finally landed

* Vertical clips auto classify now from width/height.
* New Vertical shelf on Explore, full-height 9:16 swipe viewer, safe area aware for PWA.
* Spent a hot streak on swipe/audio/PWA vroom:
  * one swipe up is one clip up or down but still buggy could 
  * unmute is working
  * player bar handoff to the dashboard player works
  * all the fun stuff overlays above the video
* Added heart, lightning tip (Bitcoin), impressions/views toggle, share, mute.
* Vertical share stays on even redirects portrait into the vertical viewer when shared via link
* Landscape shelves no longer mix in vertical cards. Vertical shelf packs edge to edge👌

### Remix → Vertical

* Labs Remix Mark I, now saves with overflow going to **Publish to Explore** (default is off but we are at least ready.)

### Hi-Fi Dub is on for every channel

* Website dubbing tools are for everyone.
* Intake is automatically set for dubs.

### Hi-Fi Deck released in Labs

* Media workstation at [https://impress.plebtv.com/labs/deck](https://impress.plebtv.com/labs/deck).
* Flow is INSERT media > pick ops > Lightning pay > Drop page.
* Ops live today: **Scribe, Dub, Cap, Clip, Rip, Drop**.
  * Cap reuses Scribe (or auto-transcribes) and can burn captions onto video, (still buggy.)
  * Clip is manual start/end extract.
  * Drop gets retention day tiers (7 / 21 / 60 / 365).
* Still in the weeds this week is around Drop shares, bridge/media URL edge cases, Cap burns, and also balancing utility over form.

### Honest deferred items

Still open, said plainly:

* Agent intake still closed until an isolated host.
* Comments will be coming soon.
* End card branding still not shipped just yet.
