Well, the thing about Nostr is that you can take your pair of keys to some other client on mobile or web. They could ban you from a certain app or relay I guess, but due to the decentralized nature of it, no one can take you completely out of the network.

That being said, I agree, we shouldn't use services or follow people who go that route.

Just saw the talk from the founder on the Nostrica stream. This guy is pro censorship. Would personally not recommend to support the route he wants to go.
