Entropia and other seed pill tools, print two seed words on each pill, meaning they’re always sitting in that jar as a fixed pair. Is this not an issue? Also on top the fact that you have to pick which side you use for each pill you pick. What are your thoughts or more important what are the facts? Can you create a full 2048 bit entropy or not?

Just pick whichever word you see first.

Don't you flip a coin with each pill? (heads top word, tails bottom word).

3d prints tend to be flatter and heavier on the side that is touching the build plate

Don't look at the pill until you orient a side facing you to read when you pull the pill out. It isn't complicated. The act of randomly picking a pill is completely random and the side that ends up facing you when you reveal it to yourself is a result of that randomness. There is no self-selection going on. As long as you put the pill back with the rest and give it a good mix between selections, you're fine.

I'd love to hear what you think about this dice method (#1541955)

I created a straightforward dice-to-seed-phrase worksheet. I had a (non bitcoin savvy) friend check it out, and fixed a few UI issues that came up from that.

I, along with a lot of others, will be upping my security in the near future with dice. No more trust in entropy from hardware wallets!

I'd love to get some feedback on it, in terms of:

  • is it easy to follow?
  • any holes in the logic?

Here's the first page. The instructions and worksheet are at the end.

... you have to pick which side you use for each pill you pick.

That choice must itself be random.
