I've made a few thousand (<10) dollars (including also losing money doing recreational bets for fun). It's really a hobby maybe becoming a side hustle. I spent a while doing arbitrage and converting bonus bets to cash (which is really another form of arbitrage) using various online tools. I'm looking more at Positive EV betting now as that feels like it would be more sustainable long term, because arbitrage can be hard to maintain on retail books with rebalancing bankroll and is pretty easy to spot and therefore get limited. I can do a more detailed write up in the future if folks are interested.
