How about those that can't go to Miami due to the difficulty of getting a US visa? How about those that can't make it to Riga, because Europe is even more expensive than Costa Rica? Perhaps there should be no more in-person events, just so that we are a more "inclusive" community. Just exclude everybody, to be safe.
Isn't that kinda what technology is? You exclude everyone who can't use the tech forming an "in group" and an "out group".
