Absolutely- indifference to the system just allows it to do as it wants with no regard for us! By having alternatives to the system, things like Bitcoin give us a chance to push back but we cannot pretend we are free of or apart from the system unless we want to step outside of it completely. Very few people could do that even if they wanted to, and even fewer will do that if they can! I don't want to do that but I do want to apply some pressure on the system including to assert my view that the banks and fiat monetary institutions hold too much private power over our supposedly democratic governments.
