Scans publicly reachable Bitcoin nodes with nmap  to guess their operating system, then aggregates the results into general OS classes (Linux, BSD, Windows, macOS, Android, Solaris, etc.) for statistics.

I'm not really sure of this contains much information, but I guess it confirms what most people might have said?

Note that there is a bit of uncertainty in these results.

nmap is just a port scanner so if you're behind NAT or have reasonable firewall settings its pretty useless
