I've been spending quite a bit of time building and testing a small mining application that can work with different algorithms.

There have been bugs, failed attempts, changes, and plenty of time spent watching the terminal wondering if anything was actually happening. 😄

Tonight it found its second block.

It's not about the value of the reward. What feels good is seeing something I've worked on actually do what it was built to do. There's a simple satisfaction in getting a result after putting in the time and effort.

I'm a little proud of that.

Now I'm waiting for block #3...

Actually, no. It's late and I'm getting sleepy. 😄

The miner can keep working. I'm going to bed.
