I still suggest using an external markdown editor to redact the posts before publishing.

I think that in English the word "redact" has a much narrower connotation, of editing specifically for preventing leaks of censoring information; e.g. "those leaked documents have been redacted, so the journalist submitted a FOIA request hoping to see the originals".

I'm aware that in some related languages that root does just mean generic editing.
