We recently got our daughter a sticker book with vehicles theme. The ones where you peel stickers from the stickers collection and then paste them on the relevant page. So for example one would stick a siren sticker on an ambulance/police car page.
There was page with all possible wheels stickers. Wheels of all different radii.
She collected many wheels of the same kind (radius). And then she started pasting them all in a single horizontal line. Me being a super boring adult tried to correct her and say that the wheels should be placed at the front and back of the vehicle.
She then said , “No daddy. This is a black caterpillar”. I was awestruck with the refreshing and imaginative take. It also reminded me how dull we become as adults. This small incident gave me so much joy.
