I always felt like they were trolling just to squeeze the max out of their bankruptcy. They got destroyed by Linux, and then they got destroyed in court when they sued literally everyone, including Novell, who in turn has been established as the IP owner of "Unix".

Lots of drama, but it all felt super frivolous.
