It's TMZ, but annoying as they are, they're usually accurate. Curry was a legend, and I'm particularly fond of him in Clue and Muppet Treasure Island, but there's no role he didn't make better.

major bummer, surprised he didn't get a role in a marvel movie
He'd been sick for a while -- other than his brief appearance in the slasher flick Stream, I don't think he had a live-action movie role in ages. I'm guessing someone at least probably offered him something (or maybe I just want that for him).
