XRP has emerged as the strongest performer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies over the past week, gaining 43.7% in seven days that puts it ahead of several major assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and other large cap altcoins.

The move comes as the broader crypto market continues to recover, with Bitcoin still driving much of the momentum. But XRP's performance stands out because the market isn't quite in full-blown altcoin season yet. Bitcoin dominance remains around 59%, suggesting capital hasn't broadly rotated away from Bitcoin.

There are some signs of stronger demand behind XRP's rally. U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded six consecutive sessions of inflows, while XRP has also seen unusually strong trading activity in South Korea.
So far, this looks more like a concentrated rotation into XRP than a broad altcoin breakout. The bigger question is whether XRP can hold these gains and pull more capital into the rest of the top 10, or whether the move eventually fades as traders take profits.
