Not overkill imo. I keep the bulk of my stack in addresses that have never signed a tx, so the pubkey's still hidden. It costs me nothing today, but if quantum ever becomes a real threat, I'm not in that mad scramble everyone else will be in. Cheap insurance for peace of mind.
