Yes...it's true, I've noticed that many times...it's like everyone is wondering what's going on inside that equipment.

All the kids look older too. They're dressed like little men who are on their way to the coal mine (maybe they were)

It's neat to watch old videos from before WWI era.

They just absolutely stare at the movie camera the whole time.

This is what I wonder everytime I see those eerie upscaled/remastered black and white videos from the early 1900s or even late 1800s.

The ones where  a camera probably looks otherworldly or like a curiosity that everyone kind of pauses to stare and giggle.
