it's a great article if you or others haven't read it.

Reading through the actual PDF's bullet points now.
Some of this stuff is bad, but a lot of it just sounds like the exact same type of FUD bitcoin used to get from the MSM (and often still does).
"It's bad because rappers reference using it to sell drugs!"
The same can very easily be said for bitcoin... just one example:
"It's used for illicit activity!"
So is cash and bitcoin. #FreeRoss
"It's used for sex work!"
To state the obvious, sex trafficking is very bad, but the adult industry as a whole is probably the most unbanked. Remember when OnlyFans almost had to shut down because of the banks and credit card companies?
Of course they'll use a convenient app if conventional banks don't want to do business with them.
Bitcoin, of course, also fixes this.
The same theme seems to apply to many of the criticisms laid out.
Some are valid, but most just seem overblown in the exact same MSM-style hysteric fashion anti-bitcoin reports are.

its about morality...

What's immoral about consuming substances unapproved by the state? Or selling sex for that matter, provided no one is being coerced? I see nothing immoral here.
If the simple fact a method of exchange can be used for actual bad things (e.g. paying a hitman) makes the method of exchange itself immoral, you should probably sell your bitcoin.

Dirty governments' cash around the whole globe has enabled, enables today and will continue enabling violent criminals, prostitution, and illicit drug dealers.
The use we do as humans of the mediums of exchange we have at our hands is driven and reflects our ethics and values. Instead of promoting this shitarticles you should ask yourself why these things happens

oops, last reply was meant for xanny not you. :) disregard. thx

Lest we forget the US government invented the War on Drugs narrative as a political device to divide and conquer. They then used their financial position as leverage after WWII to force the rest of the world to follow suit by threatening sanctions and passing the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs through the UN.
So the reason all that money is going to criminals instead of legitimate businesses is because of the US government.
And I'm not even gonna get started on how the CIA has been involved in drug trafficking over the years...
