My takeaway:

All the northeastern Ivy League schools were established to spread religion. But what’s fascinating is how things splintered. Calvinism was challenged and religion became more of an individual pursuit and not an inherited. As the religious leaders saw their donation bases shrinking they established these schools. Also this period lead to the rise of Baptism and caused morality complex in the South over slavery.
