Regardless of where we live on Earth, it seems that coffee is the antidote to modern-day stresses. Although relying on it might lead to headaches for some people if they have to abstain from it, coffee has become an integral part of everyday life for many of us. No coffee, no life!
As such, it is fascinating to see how coffee has been woven into the fabric of the lives of different people. Some swear by drip coffee while others like to add a tinge of spice to enhance the flavour. One thing’s for sure, sipping a cup of coffee might be one of the best ways to assimilate into a foreign culture.
Are you doing coffee everday?
I recently started doing tea sometimes, instead.
yes. I think I rely on it to steel myself, especially when I have to manage two jostling kids at the same time haha
and I just like the taste of coffee
I do drink tea sometimes, but I have to will myself to do so. it doesn’t come naturally
Yeah, coffee's much better. I'm basically doing this because I had a big bag of matcha powder sitting around for a long time and wanted to finally get through it.
matcha latte sounds swell
More of a matcha chai: honey, cinnamon, ginger, sea salt, turmeric, coconut oil, and vanilla paste.
now I’m curious to peek into your kitchen!
do you grow some of these plants/herbs?
I don’t grow any of those. My wife has made vanilla paste before but this was store-bought.
I did buy the honey with bitcoin, though.
Wrong
Coffee is good for your liver too. It's a key critical organ people ignore until later in life when it comes back with a vengeance from decades of crappy eating. Fortunately, it can recover, and coffee is a big contributor to gut health and liver health.
headaches: solution change brew type (opt for faster extraction) and stop doing Robusta/connilon (higher caffeine dose)
From 4-7 cups a day is the sweet spot
Pro tips
Grind your own beans
Brew only the amount you'll drink now
Stop drip
Go 100% Arábica, this is good coffee the rest is marketing
Don't do sugar, ain't a dessert
Fck tea
thanks for the pro tips!
I guess 7 cups a day is all right if each cup is prepared intentionally?
Agree. I use skim milk myself, nothing else.
We all just agreed coffee doesn't count as a drug. Society is funny.
I'm not addicted to it like most people. I drink it by impulse because its a functional part of my life.
and how do you like your coffee, sir?
Black with honey. Pretty much always.
I like my coffee like I like my women: dark-souled, bitter, and just sweet enough that I keep coming back.
I sometimes drink coffee with butter, but never with honey. should take you up on your practice sometime
I start every day with espresso. It is often something I go to bed thinking fondly about. Coffee is a delight.
Coffee and tea are universal drinks and a way to connect with different cultures. In my country, everyone who comes to your house is offered a cup of coffee ☕️. It's prepared in different ways, but for me, it's essential in the mornings because that first sip of ☕️ fills me with energy to face the day and its various challenges!
I'll restart to Black Coffee. I guess I can now. It's just that I left it all because of my nasty health condition
Hello Stackers! coffee is honestly the first thing I think about when I wake up, even before food.
