I recently emailed Kinder and Ferrero about something I have been curious about for a while. When I look at Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy in other countries, I often see licensed collectible series featuring things like Star Wars, One Piece, and other well known characters. Here in Türkiye, the toys are often much simpler and many of those larger collections never seem to appear.

I understand that products can vary between countries, but I started wondering what actually determines this.

Is it licensing?

Local demand?

Production costs?

Regional product allocation?

I asked Ferrero directly and I am waiting to see if they give me a real explanation. It also made me curious about something else.

Do you collect Kinder toys, or have you noticed big differences between the toys sold in different countries?
