My daughters are more into Sonic, but whenever they see Mario stuff they tell me, “Dad, you are like Mario. I think you really like him.” I do collect cars as a hobby, so maybe they connect that with all the colorful game stuff around me. I also had Mario on my phone screen for a while, so that probably stuck in their minds.
