A small summary from last night. Some may tell you that Haaland is back at business with 2 goals against Porto. Others may say that Real Madrid won 2-1 despite people not happy with them. Also that Aston Villa has started strong winning at Brugge and Dortmund has managed to beat Villareal also 3-2. But the real news are that Real Betis won the first match away 2-3, with Parrott scoring again for the winner. I don't want to get excited as it is too early but I like what I see.

Then we move on to tonight's matches. Three of my favorites play tonight. Barcelona begins the road against Feyenoord. I can only see an easy win from Lamine, Rodri, Gordon, Raphinha et al. Could it be their year?

Arsenal has a tough match against Napoli in Italy, though I think they are favorites. Not only they have kept the same squad from last year but added some others such as Guimaraes and Hincapie. Again a favorite for the last stages.

Also, PSG plays against Slovan Bratislava at home, which it should not be a problem for Luis Enrique's boys. They have sold players for a total income of 300M€ and added some others, such as Torres and Godts, for "just" 152M€.

An interesting match will be Liverpool against Atletico, where the reds have signed Barcolá from PSG and Victor Muñoz from Osasuna. Both are left wingers and will add speed to the team. Atletico is in the middle of problems with their striker, Julian Alvarez disappointed as he has not been transferred to Barcelona. The Spanish side lost 3-0 against Bilbao last Sunday.

The other two matches will be Stuttgart vs Viking and Sporting Lisbon vs Galatasaray.
