It would however seem to be a far superior victory for China to bide their time and wait for Taiwan to reintegrate voluntarily as using force and imperialist dictates upon people rarely turns out well in the long run...
Just look at the US record in trying to steamroll people to conform to its wishes- rarely ends well...from Korea to Vietnam, Iraq to Afghanistan.
China might choose wisely to avoid the self defeating excesses, arrogance and militaristic imperialism of the 'US Exceptionalist' petrodollar empire.
