Everyone who was an adult in 1953 is pretty much dead now. I don't care about your ancestral blood feuds. The Iranian government was coordinating with the PRC. They know the US doesn't like the PRC. They're a fanatical totalitarian theocracy and I don't respect them. Bombs away. We are bombing them because of the geopolitical position they chose to adopt today.
This should be a teachable moment for every other country and individual that would support a PRC invasion of Taiwan. Civilian life in Iran is absolutely miserable right now and their military is useless. Either the government is doomed or the country is doomed. All they can do is play pirate and attack civilian ships, and you're calling that a win. It's not a win.
