Bowers and Kittle could be the next Brown and Rice.
I really hope the 49ers can get a SB with this group. It will help alleviate some of the tough decisions that need to be made once they are no longer productive. You can probably keep Kittle, Bosa, CMC, Warner a little longer than you should and let them retire as 49ers if you have won one. If not you probably have to be ruthless and move on.
Clock is ticking for this crew. I think this year and next year they still have a shot but after that it will need to be a new core.
Depending on how willing those guys are to take team friendly deals, I could definitely see them sell high on most of them and try to rebuild the defense around Warner and the offense around Purdy.
They are trying to thread the needle. They have been trying to inject some youth in. The defense is pretty young overall. The offense is old but that's because you have four hall of famers that are older but still really good. Hopefully they draft heavy on the OLine the next couple drafts and find a TE to compliment Kittle in the way they have found Black to compliment CMC.
Maybe Bosa but not Kittle. I imagine he will retire a 49er.
