BackStory

As I have mention in the past #1269572 , I traditional have been a wired computer user.

I have recently been using some mid price Bluetooth headphones.

Issue

On multiple computers the headphone has an audio lag.

When viewing a video the lag is problematic.

How do you other Stackers manage this?

Do I need to buy some high end headhpones?

Is there some setting that I can adjust?

Have just ordered some bluetooth headphones low priced versions about US$10.
Hope they do not have this same problem!
Using linux when I have bluetooth on it sometimes seems to slow the wifi signal down quite a lot.

Let me know your experience when they get delivered.

Thinking about it am hopeful they will be ok as the cheap bluetooth earpieces im using work ok just they get uncomfortable so hoping proper headphones are more comfortable.

Am using debian 12 on which the wired sound and built in speaker sound has never worked but bluetooth sound does!

Debian 13 on my newer laptop which I rarely use so far works ok on the built in wired sound...though I haven't tried its bluetooth.

I've seen this on Windows laptops.

Might have to change the bluetooth version, had weird issues under linux and for some reason had to manually set the bluetooth version to 5
