I thought you folks might be interested in this, I ran across this newspaper page while doing some unrelated research.

A couple points I noticed:

Bee was cheaper than Pork! $0.19 a pound for beef vs $0.23 a pound for pork. Very strange, and it's so very different now, pork is so much cheaper.

Kellogs was the only obviously "branded" food. Everything else was mostly unbranded (like Coconut, bulk; Soda)

A lot less junk food. This looks like the "junk food" section (also, cookies classified as "crackers):
