A small milestone for MostroEuropa, but an important one for us.

MostroEuropa is now part of the trusted Mostro community network.

When we started this, the idea was pretty simple: build a European community where people could actually trade Bitcoin P2P using Mostro, Lightning and Nostr.

At the beginning there was obviously no liquidity. No users waiting on the other side. No guarantee that anyone would create or take an order.

That's the difficult part of starting any P2P market.

But we've kept the coordinator running, built the community, started spreading the word and, most importantly, real trades have started happening.

Becoming a trusted community is another step forward.

And there's another important change coming soon.

With the upcoming new version of the Mostro Android app, MostroEuropa will appear among the available communities directly in the app.

Until now, users who wanted to trade through MostroEuropa had to add the coordinator manually from the app settings using our public key.

Soon that extra step won't be necessary: users will be able to find and select MostroEuropa directly from the available communities.

For a small community trying to bootstrap a P2P market, reducing that friction matters a lot.

We're still small and we're not pretending otherwise.

The next challenge is liquidity.

We need people creating BUY and SELL orders and leaving them available long enough for another Bitcoiner to find them.
