Surprised we're that much ahead of China but I wonder if it's a reporting issue
No idea, really, but this might be a difference between the time involved in political decision making vs responding to market forces.
In a lot of the rural US, land use is fairly unregulated, so data centers could fly up. It's only now that the political response is really growing.
Surely China has more than that?
The US is always ahead of everyone else, in pretty much everything :)
