Not being an RTS gives even more weight to the argument no good games have been made in at least the last 10 years, just casual mindless slop for mass consumption

Well, SC2 still awesome, I still love the look and feel of the game.
But RTS genre, is almost dead.
I don't mind to try something new on the SC franchise.

Would rather they sold the IP, it's not the same company that made SC2, it's run by managers not founders. Zero art.

A new RTS could still be huge, but some bean counters probably determined an infantilized shooter would be bigger. Product by committee.
